So far 2022 has seen some outstanding shooting with three new state records being set.

At the June ISSF State Championships at Cockburn Fremantle Scott Anderson broke the Rapid Fire record that he previously held jointly with Bailey Groves.  The record currently sits at 573.  No doubt Bailey will be keen to go one better in the future.

At the Kalamunda ISSF Open Katie Nicholls set a new Women’s 10m Air Pistol record of 559.  This was a record previously held by sister Siobhy jointly with two others.  Both Nicholls twins have been achingly close to the record for the past year, so it was great to see one of them finally claim it.

At the WA1500 Open at Whiteman Park Jeremy Kozak set a new Revolver record of 1488.  This record had sat for 10 years.  It was a credit to Jeremy’s dedication and training to make this achievement.
