Vounteers Recognised

today 18, April 2020

Four WAPA stalwarts, Carol Coombs, Hardy Friehe, Jan Broun and Max Wray were recently recognised at the 2019 WA Volunteer Service Awards for having put in more than 25 years of volunteer service for WAPA. Carol, Hardy and Jan received their certificates from the Minister for Volunteering Mick Murray at a ceremony on 22nd May. The awards were an initiative of the Department of Communities, as a way of saying thank you to those who’s years of altruistic service, compassion, energy and care bring value to our communities. It would take pages to describe all the work that these four have given to pistol shooting. Congratulations and thanks from the rest of us.
